My great Grandmother Alice Blake’s mother was Louisa Markes whose parents were Mr and Mrs Featherstone.
Samuel Markes of Newton me Willows & Bristol; transferred by McCorquodale’s to take charge of their Southwark Office; died much respected by Firm & Staff, January 1882.
